Young German thrashers REZET are set to release a new EP via Believe Digital/Soulfood on September 1st, 2017: „You Asked For It“ is raging through the speakers in 4 diversified tracks.

Acting more direct and less dissolute on this release, the band is more or less going back to their roots, unveiling the very core of its style: unleashed, highly energetic and brutal Thrash Metal. The high complexity of previous REZET arrangements has stepped aside to allow for the four youngsters’ most brutal and striking material up to date. In which they succeed with a statement!

„Minority Erazer“, opener and Video/Single-release of the EP (digitally available on August 11th), has REZET talk about social and political problems in a true thrash-/punk fashion, coming up with probably the most brutal song in the band’s history. „Thrash Their Hate“ is yielding a reminiscence to Kreator, whilst„Friendly Fire“ technically is the most Old-School REZET song on this release. Wrapping up the tracklist is a remake of Dead Kennedys’ smash „Chemical Warfare“. The EP was recorded and produced with producer Eike Freese in Hamburg’s very own “Chamaleon Studios”.

Ricky Wagner (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Bastian Santen (Drums & Background Vocals), Lucas Grümmert (Lead Guitar & Background Vocals) and Bjarne Otto (Bass & Background Vocals) have shredded an impressive exclamation point and once again the overall band’s tightness benefits from the 12-13 year old metal kids which formed the band back then and continuously designed this sound.
